Our History:

Concern ZPA was initially founded in 1952 as a state-owned company that provided products and services for all industry sectors in the sphere of industry automation. At it's height the company had more than 135000 employees working in many group's companies, manufacturing and implementing industrial automation in Czech Republic and around the world. ZPA-DP was part of the ZPA group, and it's primary responsibility was to provide full scope of services for implementing industrial automation, that is all activities from design to commissioning. Later on ZPA fused with EZ company to form another state owned giant company Elektromont.

ZPA-DP A.s . was founded on 3^rd May 1990 as private stock company be a group of 90 employees of former Elektromont with extensive experience in industrial automation.

Primary activities:

Primary activities of ZPA-DA a.s. are in MV/LV Electrical Engineering, up to 35kV, I&C/ control systems , SCADA  and filed instrumentation. In these areas we provide complex solutions from project design to commissioning. We do project for Electrical Engineering and I&C in one location and on the same type and version of CAD design system, thus we ensure perfect coordination of functionality and interconnection of control systems with technological electrical systems. This has profound effect on shortening time for realization of all stages of project, lowering project cost and achiving high quality results.

Based on ZPA-DP a.s. extensive experience from many successful projects, we also provide services such as basic engineering, project management, consulting, project design, software design, author s supervision, supervision/coordinate, deliveries, Factory Acceptance Test including verification of software, assembly, commissioning with validation of software, training and maintenance.

We are manufacturer of complete cable trays system with selection of cable trays material like stainless steel, zinc-plated, etc. Also at our facilities we produce switchboxes from brand components like Rittal, Senco, and others. Our offer completes our own transportation, we have several trucks from light-weight to heavy duty freighliner.

Our superior quality is based on work of many qualified and skilled engineers and by strictly adhering to ISO 9001:94 , ISO 9000-3:97 standards. ZPA-DP a.s. quality management and quality assurance standards are certigied according to ISO 9001:94 standard by DNV.

In order to ensure high quality we are using complex typified blocks in our designs.

This block reuse span from project design to control loops design. It s important to realize the know-how behind these typified blocks as some of the control loops have evoved for more than thiry years now. Besides consistent level of quality it provides to customers lower cost solution, as typified blocks are faster to design and faster to design and safer tp implement.

What We ve done:

ZPA-DP a.s. is specially proud of some of our projects, namely on realization of reconstruction of 200 MW unit of Pocerady power plant complete replacement of electrical and control system within 3 monthes. Unit 4 was switched off on 10.2.1996 and was phased-in on 13.5.1996, the unit was in fully automatic process connected to the central control station in Prague on 15.5.1996.

WE provided complex retrofit of the electrical system, control system, field instrumentation using GE control systems and HMI Cimplicity .
